Tom Waddell

Hello and welcome from the Waddell State Farm Agency. I’m Tom Waddell, and I’m proud to serve the Oxnard, CA community and the surrounding Ventura County area with the same care and commitment I bring to my own family. I was born and raised in Torrance, California, and I’m a graduate of Torrance High School. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Cal State Northridge, a background that shaped the way I approach problem‐solving and attention to detail. Those skills continue to guide how I help individuals and families prepare for life’s everyday risks and long‐term goals. Family and community have always been at the center of my life. I’ve been happily married to my sweetheart, Gayle, for over 44 years, and we’re blessed with six children, their spouses, ten grandchildren, and four great‐grandchildren. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening, and spending quality time with family. Giving back has also been an important part of my journey. I’ve served as Director and Past Chair of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce, now known as the West Ventura County Business Alliance, and as a Director and Past Chair of Goodwill Industries for Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties. I’m a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Camarillo, and I’ve stayed actively involved with youth through the Boy Scouts of America as a former Scoutmaster and Cubmaster, as well as by managing and coaching youth sports teams.
